Jamin Jollo
Jamin is a theatre maker and mime artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Influenced by artists such as OSF fight choreographer U. Jonathan Toppo and master mime James Donlon, Jamin explores the study of Mime, Shakespeare, and stage combat while performing in plays and his own Vaudeville creations including mime, mask work, puppetry, and occasionally character burlesque. An actor, teacher, and builder, Jamin blends theatrical drama and zany characters to show twisted, heartfelt tales. Drawing from his well of classical training in mime and Shakespeare, Jamin has been onstage with Shotgun Players, Marin Shakespeare Company, Church of Clown, The Curtain Theatre, and variety shows at LA Mime Festival, North Bay Cabaret, Ruckus Revival, and Forbidden Kiss at The California. |
